THE PROFILE These black mottled pillars are hand-poured in small batches using premium IGI 4625 paraffin, resulting in a unique stone-like texture reminiscent of natural basalt or dark slate. This black pillar candle carries a soft, naturally mottled surface, subtle shifts of light and dark that catch differently depending on where you're standing. Neutral enough to fit almost any space, but with a texture and depth you won't find on a mass-produced candle. Each piece is hand-poured with technical precision to ensure a clean, dripless burn. The distinctive color variation and patterning are created through our proprietary pouring process using a single wax color, rather than by layering or combining separately colored waxes. This technique creates organic movement and subtle variation within the wax itself, giving each pillar its own distinctive character, texture, and finish. No two pieces are exactly alike.
